Momentum Boarding got started in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina over decade ago.
Over the last 10 years there have been quite a few contributors that have helped make Momentum a success.
Momentum began with a logo, five custom surfboards, and two simple t-shirt designs. It has always been a working progress by creator Hunter Ford. Currently our retail space in downtown Wilmington, NC is home to all of our shenanigans. An extensive online catalog was launched in the beginning of 2010 to bring Momentum into the global surf and skate market (www.momentumboarding.com). The online store offers Momentum customers direct access to Eastern Skateboard/Surf Supply’s entire catalog alongside independent brands sold at the downtown location. Local customers can purchase items online and pick up their orders at the store for free.
